Marketing Impact

Air Shows across the USA bring out 20,000,000 spectators annually – bigger attendance than major league baseball.  Air shows in Miramar, CA and SeaFair in Seattle, WA are two of the largest venues of any kind in the world. These air shows frequently shut down freeways and airports and local news covers the events for a week or more prior to, during, and post event.

Our aircraft perform on the same stage with the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds - and alongside the most famous aviators in the world. Our marketing partners (sponsors) promote their brand to the masses through press, photos, mentions and direct interaction with the crowd in booths or vehicles prepared for the occasion. You may have your company representatives present, and if they are, you will likely get to close sales.

Case Study: Oracle (Pilot: Sean Tucker) generated $4,000,000 in Oracle sales in one day at the Miramar air show, according to Oracle Regional Sales Manager Brent Mitchell.

Profile of Spectators of Air Shows in General:

  • 61% are male - 50% bring thier kids
  • 35% are college graduates
  • 15% hold post graduate educations
  • 65.4% own their own homes

  • 17% have household incomes between $75-100k

Example: When our SU-29, owned and flown by Renny Price performs in the generic purple airplane (with no sponsorship) at the Hillsboro Air Show in Oregon, which also features the Blue Angels, his web-site gets 4,000,000 hits – and he isn’t even selling a product. Only a yearly package including fuel, aircraft paint, logistics, and our expenses is available. You will have exclusive marketing rights on the aircraft for that year.
